What Framing Options Are Available?

We stock a core range of frames – Matt Black, Matte White and Matte Oak – in Canvas and Print styles.

Frames measure 20mm wide on the face and 37mm deep against the wall.

The frames are 30mm thick and are not included in the overall dimensions of products so please be mindful of the additional 60mm in overall width for prints and up to 100mm overall for Canvas.

E.G the size of the picture in frame is 750mm x 1000mm but the overall framed image dimension is 810mm x 1060mm.

Print Framing

All finished framed prints are cased in a clear acrylic. This allows for reduced damage during transportation and gives a high quality, lightweight and easy to clean alternative to glass.

Prints With Borders

When choosing prints, you can select to have an internal border. Borders come in two thicknesses – 40mm and 60mm – and this is an additional margin of white paper on the image print.

We also offer Mat Board borders. This is an additional piece of internal card stock that can give a higher-end look and feel. Mat Boards are at an additional cost, so please get in touch with one of our team to discuss a Mat Board for your order.

Please note, when selecting prints with internal borders, the border thickness is included in the overall dimension size. This means, when you select a 40mm border for a 750mm x 1000mm print, the print size reduces to 710mm x 960mm to accommodate for the border material. If you would like to discuss adding a border to your image, please contact us here.

Canvas

All of our Canvas prints are gallery wrapped meaning the image is printed, stretched and wrapped around the canvas for a consistent and clean finish. All our canvases come framed and we recommend this, but you can request an unframed canvas print.

Do You Do Custom Sizes / Framing In Custom Colours?

Custom sizes and differing frame colours are not part of our standard range, so please contact us for special requests.

What Material Is The Frame?

All our frames are high quality timber. Our coloured frames (black and white) are laminated timber. Our oak coloured frame is sealed timber. This way the frame is of a lighter construction, but has high durability.
